IWBKA Annual Beekeeping Auction 2026

Saturday, 11th April 2026.

This year, the auction is changing venue to the Wishing Well, home of Mermaid Gin, by kind permission of the owners. The What3words address is ///handed.interrupt.nipped

There is plenty of parking, and lunch and drinks can be bought from the pub.

Viewing starts at 12.00 and the auction at 13.00.

No bees will be sold at the auction - equipment and beekeeping items only.

If you are taking equipment to be auctioned, please arrive at the venue from 9:00-11:00 in order to drop them off and get everything ready for the auction.

The auction itself starts at 13:00. 

We hope you can come along to support the event. Often there is useful beekeeping equipment on auction and, even if you don’t plan to buy anything, it’s a great opportunity to meet and chat. 

Some lots will have reserves, most don’t and items unsold at the end of the auction could still be negotiated with the seller.

This year we can accept card payments and BACS is still available if you wish to use this method.
